FAQ
Q1: Are your cribs JPMA certified and compliant with current safety standards?
A: Yes. All our cribs are tested and certified to meet or exceed the latest U.S. CPSC safety standards, including the federal ban on drop-side cribs. JPMA certification details are provided with each product.
Q2: Are cot bumpers safe? What are your bumpers made of?
A: Important Safety Notice: The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends against the use of traditional padded crib bumpers to reduce the risk of SIDS and suffocation. Our "cot bumpers" are specifically designed as breathable mesh liners that meet CPSC guidance for "thin, breathable" materials, intended to prevent limb entrapment while allowing air flow. They are not traditional padded bumpers. Always follow safe sleep guidelines.
Q3: At what age/weight are your kids' desks appropriate?
A: Our desks are designed for children approximately ages 3-10, with a typical weight capacity of 50-75 lbs. The exact specifications, including adjustable height ranges, are listed on each product page. Always supervise young children.
Q4: What materials and finishes do you use? Are they non-toxic?
A: We prioritize safety. Cribs and desks are made from sustainably sourced solid wood or engineered wood with non-toxic, lead-free, and VOC-free finishes and paints. All materials are tested for safety compliance. Certificates are available upon request.
Q5: Do the cribs convert into toddler beds?
A: Many of our crib models are 3-in-1 or 4-in-1 convertibles, transitioning from a crib to a toddler bed, daybed, and sometimes a full-size headboard. Conversion kits are usually included or available for purchase. Check the product description for details.
Q6: What is the assembly process like?
A: All furniture requires home assembly with clear, step-by-step instructions and all necessary tools/hardware included. Crib assembly is a two-person job for safety and stability. We strongly recommend following all instructions precisely.
